MDRTL is the only single-issue pro-life lobbying organization in Maryland.  We retain a Legislative Director to monitor, take action upon, and lobby on behalf of those whose lives are threatened and cannot defend themselves.  Each legislative session from January through April, we review and analyze thousands of bills to help you stay informed. 

MDRTL is currently monitoring or engaged in lobbying efforts on the following bills, which may impact the right to life in Maryland.  This page will be updated continually as the session progresses and as the status of bills change.  Please check this page for updates each week of the legislative session and actively promote our website www.mdrtl.org to your family, friends and churches.

Use our Bill Trackers to contact bill sponsors, committee members and your own elected officials to ask them to SUPPORT OR OPPOSE the bills listed on this page. 

After sending your email or letter to legislators, you should attempt to contact them by phone to share your position. Please always be respectful to legislators and their staff members.
