Internships

Internships at Maryland Right to Life provide high school graduates the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the pro-life movement on the state level. We tailor our internship program to meet the academic and educational goals of each student.

Areas of concentration typically include Journalism, English, Communications, Political Science, Philosophy, Theology, Social Work, Life Sciences, and others. Internships run from 8 to 10 weeks in either the fall or spring semesters or during the summer months. Each season offers unique learning opportunities!

Summer: Interns have the opportunity to attend the National Right to Life Conference. They may also attend seminars at the National Right to Life office featuring distinguished pro-life leaders and participate in networking events in Washington, DC. Additionally, Maryland Right to Life summer interns may assist with some of our largest outreach efforts of the year- our educational booths at the Maryland State Fair and county fairs across the state.

Fall: Interns are called upon to assist with organization and clerical tasks. In presidential or midterm election years (2026), fall interns get a front row seat to Maryland Right to Life’s political efforts. They also have the opportunity to attend the annual Maryland Right to Life Banquet, one of our most important fundraisers of the year.

Winter/Spring: Interns have the opportunity to be directly involved in the legislative process at the Maryland General Assembly. Interns will also be involved with the planning and logistics of the Maryland Right to Life Convention (Saturday, May 16, 2026).

To inquire about an internship or earning student service hours for volunteering, please send us an email.
