Since 1973, Maryland Right to Life has worked to educate Marylanders about the unalienable right to life– from life’s very beginning at conception until natural death.

We raise awareness and inform the public about critical issues affecting the right to life– from abortion and infanticide to assisted suicide and euthanasia. Maryland Right to Life is a reliable resource for educators, students, parents, journalists, public officials, fellow pro-life activists, and anyone else seeking scientifically accurate information on these topics.

Maryland Right to Life carries out its educational mission through community outreach at fairs, events like the annual Maryland Right to Life Convention, presentations to schools and churches, flyers and brochures, webinars, ad campaigns, social media, student programs like our annual essay contest, publications like our newsletter Life Report, op-eds and letters to the editor, press releases and media interviews, blog posts, collaborative partnerships with allied groups and pregnancy help centers, and, of course, our website.

Maryland Right to Life’s network of county chapters play a pivotal role in education by extending the reach of our organization down to the local level. We equip our fellow citizens with the knowledge and resources they need to become effective defenders of life.
