About our Keynote Speaker
Against all odds, Sarah Zagorski Jones miraculously survived an induction abortion and was born alive at 26 weeks. The abortionist advised leaving her for dead. At 16 months old, she was placed in the foster care system. Foster care is where she experienced pro-life convictions in practice through a loving family committed to her care. Sarah’s adoptive parents remain an active part of her life. Her journey has been featured on Fox News, CNN, NPR, and in the Associated Press, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, National Review, and more. Today, Sarah serves as the Senior Director of Communications for Americans United for Life. Her powerful story reminds us that every life has immeasurable value and is worth fighting for.
The 2026 Theme: “Against All Odds”
Against all odds, Sarah Zagorski Jones survived an abortion. That was never supposed to happen. Against all odds, Maryland Right to Life fights on. We persevere in educating the public, impacting public policy, developing local chapters, training new pro-life leaders, and changing hearts and minds. It’s not always easy to stand up for life in a state like Maryland. Against all odds, we are making a difference!
